Empowering Gig Workers, Securing Futures

Our Demands

01

Demand Increased Wage Protections

Delivery drivers are notoriously underpaid. Amongst our demands this is the most pressing.

02

Demand Investment in Safety Measures

Uber Drivers face auto collisions, violent customers, scams and more. We demand delivery companies invest in a variety of safety measures to protect us.

03

Demand Benefits

Many work as delivery drivers as full time employees. We demand they be treated as such.

04

Demand Regulations on Delivery Work

We will not only just demand delivery companies improve their standards, but also demand Congress keeps them to their word.

05

Demand UDA a Seat at the Table

We demand that UDA be given a shareholder stake in the company, ensuring our input on company decisions and strategy.

06

Demand Customer Expectations

Customers are a critical part of how we are treated. We demand companies require an “expectation of care” of their customers, requiring a degree of respect and safety.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is UDA?

United Delivery Advocates (UVA) is a collective of delivery drivers advocating for the safety, pay and well-being across an unrespected industry.

Do You Offer Any Services?

Aside from advocacy, we have developed a tracker to support and boost our movement. Cases of mistreatment will not go unseen. Long term, we intend to pay for the medical and legal fees of drivers while petitoning the companies to reimburse.

What are you doing for drivers?

We are currently recruiting as many drivers as possible to formulate a number of demand letters. We will present these letters to delivery companies, and will take appropriate next steps if they do not protect us.

What Benefits are There to Membership?

Membership in the UDA is a show of solidarity with delivery drivers, that will not be belittled, exploited or harrassed. You join a collective that will advocate for you and the millions of other delivery drivers across the country.
